Delete my account

You can ask us to delete your VerifiedPhones account and your data at any time. This works the same for the website and the VerifiedPhones Android app.

How to ask

Log in to your account.
Open this page (Delete my account, also linked at the bottom of every page and on your profile).
Tick the box and press Delete my account.

We delete your account within 7 days and send no further emails after that.

Can't log in? Use Forgot password first, or contact us from the email on your account:

Use the Report this ad button on any ad, or send us a message through the contact details on our contact page.

What we delete

Your name, email address, mobile number and city.
Your shop name, address and description, if you have a shop account.
All your ads and their photos are taken off the site.
Your Google or Apple sign-in link and your password.

What we keep, and for how long

Messages you already sent stay in the other person's inbox, shown as from "Deleted user", so they keep their own chat history.
Reviews you wrote stay, shown as from "Deleted user".
Security records (such as IP addresses) are kept for up to 90 days, or longer only if the law requires it or there is an open fraud complaint.
