iPhone Duo Price in Pakistan: Apple's First Foldable iPhone Explained
23 Oct 2026 · 3 min read
Apple's first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, went on sale worldwide on 23 October 2026, and it launched in Pakistan on the same day through Apple's official distributor, with PTA approval and a one-year Apple warranty. It is the most expensive iPhone ever sold here, so here is what you get for the money and what to check before you buy.
iPhone Duo price in Pakistan
Official launch prices in Pakistan for PTA-approved units with Apple warranty:
- 256GB: Rs 899,999
- 512GB: Rs 980,000
- 1TB: Rs 1,145,000
- 2TB: Rs 1,390,000
These are the launch prices. Prices in Pakistan move with the dollar rate and stock, so confirm the current price with the seller. Imported non-PTA units will appear in the market too, but on a phone this expensive the PTA tax is very large, so a PTA-approved unit with official warranty is usually the safer buy. What makes the iPhone Duo different
- Two screens: a 7.6-inch inner screen that opens like a small tablet, the largest screen ever on an iPhone, and a 5.4-inch outer screen for quick use when it is closed.
- Thin design: about 5.2mm thick when open and 11.3mm when folded, weighing around 254 grams.
- A20 Pro chip: the same chip as the iPhone 18 Pro, so it is as fast as Apple's best phones.
- Cameras: two 48MP rear cameras (main and ultra wide) and an under-display camera on the inner screen. There is no telephoto lens, so zoom is weaker than on the iPhone 18 Pro.
- Touch ID, not Face ID: the fingerprint sensor is built into the side button.
- Apple Pencil support on both screens.
The eSIM catch for Pakistan
The iPhone Duo is eSIM only. There is no physical SIM tray. Before you buy, make sure your mobile network can move your number to an eSIM, and that you know how to do it. If you change networks often or share SIMs between phones, this matters.
Who should buy the iPhone Duo
The Duo makes sense if you read, edit documents or watch a lot of video on your phone and want a bigger screen without carrying a tablet. If you mostly use social media, calls and the camera, the iPhone 18 Pro gives you a better zoom camera for a lot less money.
As with every foldable, think about repairs. A broken inner screen on any foldable is very expensive to replace. Read are foldable phones worth it in Pakistan before you decide.
Buying a used iPhone Duo
It will take a few months before used iPhone Duo units appear in numbers. When they do, check the inner screen carefully for marks along the fold, test Touch ID, make sure the seller has signed out of iCloud, and confirm the PTA status with the IMEI. Our used phone checklist covers every step.
