How to buy a used phone

Buying is free and you never pay us anything. Here is how to find a good phone and buy it safely.

Buy a mobile in 5 easy steps

  1. 1 SearchType a phone name like iPhone 13 or Samsung A55 in the search box and tap Search. Tap Advanced search to pick the brand, model, storage, RAM, city, condition, PTA status and your budget. Use Near me to see phones in your own city first.
  2. 2 CompareOpen a few ads side by side. Each one shows real photos, the price, PTA status, storage, condition and battery health. Look for the Health checked ✓ badge, which means the seller tested the phone live on our site. Shops show a trust score out of 100 and reviews from real buyers. Tap the heart to save an ad and come back to it later.
  3. 3 Contact the sellerSign in free to see the seller's number. Call, WhatsApp or message them on VerifiedPhones. Ask why they are selling, whether the box and charger are included, and if the price is final. Never send an advance on JazzCash or Easypaisa to a seller you have not met.
  4. 4 Check and payMeet in a busy public place in daylight. Dial *#06# and match the IMEI with the box, then send it to 8484 to check the PTA status. Test the screen, cameras, speaker, buttons and battery health, and make sure the iCloud or Google account is signed out. Pay only when you are happy, in person.
  5. 5 Rate the shopBought from a shop? Open the shop's page and leave a star rating with a short review. Only people who really bought from the shop can review, so ratings stay honest and help the next buyer.

Good to know

  • Look for the Health checked ✓ badge and open the report before you meet.
  • Never send an advance on JazzCash or Easypaisa to a seller you have not met.
  • Send the IMEI to 8484 to check the PTA status before you pay.
  • Make sure the iCloud or Google account is signed out before you take the phone.
