How to Sell Your Samsung Phone in Pakistan: Price, Reset and Tips

Samsung is one of the most popular phone brands in Pakistan, so there are always buyers looking for a used Galaxy. Whether you are selling an A-series phone or a Galaxy S Ultra, the steps below will help you get a fair price quickly.

Know which Samsung you have

Samsung sells many similar-sounding phones, and buyers search by exact model. Go to Settings, then About phone, and note:

Model name (for example Galaxy A55 or Galaxy S24 Ultra)
Storage and RAM
Single SIM or dual SIM. Some imported units are single SIM, which matters to buyers.

What Samsung buyers check

Screen burn-in. AMOLED screens can show faint ghost images after years of use. Open a plain grey or white image at full brightness and look closely. Be honest if there is burn-in.
PTA status. Send the IMEI to 8484.
Battery. Check Settings, then Battery and device care, then Diagnostics on newer models.
S Pen on Ultra and Note models. Make sure it is there and works.
Fold hinge and crease on Z Fold and Z Flip phones. Buyers will open and close it many times.

How to price a used Samsung

Remove your Samsung and Google accounts

Samsung phones have two locks: your Google account and your Samsung account. If you do not remove both, the buyer may get stuck at a lock screen after reset.

1. Go to Settings, then Accounts and backup, then Manage accounts.
2. Remove your Google account and your Samsung account.
3. Turn off Find My Mobile in Settings, then Security and privacy.
4. Then do a factory reset.

Write a strong Samsung ad
