Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Price in Pakistan: Lighter and Wider

Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 was announced on 22 July 2026 and went on sale globally on 7 August. It has started appearing in Pakistan, mostly through importers and big retailers.

Listed prices in Pakistan have started at around Rs 623,000 for the base model. For comparison, the US launch prices were:
- 12GB / 256GB: $1,899
- 12GB / 512GB: $2,099
- 16GB / 1TB: $2,499

What's new on the Fold 8
- Lightest Fold yet: about 201 grams, which makes it much easier to use with one hand when closed.
- Wider 4:3 inner screen: the 7.6-inch inner display has a more square, tablet-like shape that is better for reading, documents and split-screen apps.
- Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, the same top chip as Samsung's other 2026 flagships.
Fold 8 or iPhone Duo?
Both are big-screen foldables at a premium price. The Fold 8 has Samsung's multitasking, S Pen history and a more mature foldable design, and it is cheaper than the iPhone Duo in Pakistan. Checking a used Fold
- Open it fully and look at the inner screen on a white background for lines, dead pixels or bubbles, especially along the fold.
- Check the hinge is firm and closes completely flat with no gap.
- Ask about any screen repair. An inner screen replacement is very expensive, so a repaired screen should lower the price.
- Confirm the PTA status with the IMEI and make sure the Samsung account is removed.
