With Rs 20,000 to 30,000 you can buy a Samsung phone in Pakistan, but your choices are narrow if you want it brand new. New, this range is mostly the Galaxy A06 in its lower variants. Used, you have many more options, including the Galaxy A05s, A14, A15 and A24, some of which have AMOLED screens and stronger chips than any new Samsung at this price.

Used phones give you much more choice. Typical used prices depend heavily on condition, battery and box/accessories:

Galaxy A05s - Snapdragon 680, 90Hz screen and 6GB RAM on many units. Often found at the lower end of this range. See ads

What to check on a used Samsung

Screen: AMOLED models can show green lines or burn-in. Open a white screen and a grey screen and look closely.
Accounts: both the Samsung account and Google account must be signed out, otherwise the phone can lock after a reset.
Battery: check how fast it drains and whether it gets hot while charging.
IMEI and PTA: dial *#06# and check the IMEI on 8484. It must match the box.
Charging port and speakers: test with your own cable.

Mistakes to avoid

Buying a non-PTA Samsung to save money. PTA tax is based on the phone's customs value and is higher on CNIC than on passport. For a budget phone, it can add a large share of the price. Confirm the exact amount on PTA's DIRBS website before paying, and read PTA approved vs non-PTA.
Buying an old Galaxy S phone cheaply. A Galaxy S10 or S20 at this price often has a weak battery and no more updates.
