How to Sell a Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO Phone in Pakistan
13 Jun 2026 · 2 min read
Xiaomi phones, especially the Redmi Note series, are very popular in Pakistan because they give a lot for the price. That popularity means your used Redmi or POCO can sell quickly, if you price it right and remove your accounts properly.
Know your exact model
Xiaomi has many similar names: Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro+, POCO X6, POCO X6 Pro and more. Go to Settings, then About phone, and copy the exact name and storage into your ad. Buyers search by exact model, and a vague title gets fewer calls.
Price it against live ads
Check live Xiaomi ads and live Redmi ads for the same model and storage. Xiaomi phones lose value a bit faster than Samsung or Apple, because new models arrive often. Price near the middle of what similar phones are asking, a bit higher if you have the box and a good battery.
The Mi account lock
This is the step sellers forget most often. Xiaomi phones have a Mi account lock as well as the Google lock. If you reset the phone without removing your Mi account, the buyer cannot use it until you sign in again.
1. Go to Settings, then Mi Account (or Xiaomi Account).
2. Sign out. You will need your password.
3. Remove your Google account in Settings, then Accounts and sync.
4. Turn off Find device.
5. Factory reset the phone.

What buyers check
- Screen. Look for green or pink lines and dead spots, which some AMOLED Redmi screens develop with age.
- Charging speed. Buyers like the fast charging on Redmi Note Pro models. Include the original charger if you have it.
- Camera. Test all cameras, including the macro and wide lenses.
- PTA status. Send the IMEI to 8484.
Make your ad work
- Title with exact model and storage
- Five clear daylight photos
- PTA status, condition and box contents
- A free health test report
