How to Sell a Used iPhone in Pakistan for the Best Price

iPhones hold their value better than almost any other phone in Pakistan, so a used iPhone can still bring in good money. But iPhone buyers are also the most careful buyers. They check battery health, Face ID, PTA status and iCloud. If you prepare for those checks, you will sell faster and for more.

What iPhone buyers check first

1. PTA status. A PTA-approved iPhone sells for far more than a non-PTA one, because the PTA tax on iPhones is high. Check yours by sending the IMEI to 8484. Read iPhone price PTA vs non-PTA to see how big the gap is.
2. Battery health. Go to Settings, then Battery, then Battery Health. Above 85% is a strong selling point. Below 80% lowers the price, and buyers will ask about it.
3. Face ID or Touch ID. If it does not work, the price drops a lot. Test it before you list.
4. Original parts. Go to Settings, then General, then About. Newer iOS versions show if the screen, battery or camera were replaced. Mention any replaced parts honestly.
5. iCloud lock. The buyer must see that you can sign out of your Apple ID. Never sell an iPhone that is still linked to your account.

How to price your iPhone

Check live iPhone ads for the same model, storage, PTA status and battery health. Two phones of the same model can be far apart in price because of these details. As a rule:

A boxed, PTA-approved iPhone with battery above 85% sits at the top of the range.
Missing box, battery below 80% or a replaced screen each pull the price down.

Best time to sell an iPhone
